Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My aunt Maura Angland donated a kidney to my father Padraig last summer. Both are doing really well since the operation. Dad has not needed dialysis since the transplant, he can eat a normal diet again and is back to work after being off sick for a couple of years.  We benefited directly from the support and facilities of the IKA. We would like to raise awareness about organ donation and fundraise to help the IKA support other families.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

All donations greatly appreciated,

About the charity

We work to meet the needs of people living with, and affected by end stage kidney disease. Our national network of 25 Branches gives us a strong presence at local level both as a peer support network and a base from which we can promote organ donor awareness, another key role of the Association.
