Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I've been a volunteer Marine Mammal Medic with British Divers Marine Life Rescue since February 2006. I decided to train to become a medic after watcing BDMLR's valent efforts to save the Northern Bottlenose Whale that made world wide news by swimming up the River Thames in January of that year.
Since then I've been involved in many different aspects of the charity's work, including both organizing and attending fundraising events; volunteering by helping out at BDMLR's Head Office once a week for a year; helping to organize BDMLR's first two National Conferences; and attending call outs as needed as a trained and experienced marine mammal medic. As a medic, I'm on call and available to respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
I'm now trying a new fundraising route, and I've got some BDMLR collection containers I'll be putting out across Brighton and Hove and maintaining them in order to raise money for British Divers Marine Life Rescue, so we can continue to do the rescue work we do, maintain and buy new equipment, and help with operating costs, which can be phenomenal You can help me accomplish this and aid in this cause by making a donation online on my page, Just simply click on 'Donate,'.and then fill out your details in the form that appears. And then Bob's your uncle!
Thank you very much for your time and interest.
