Story

Dear friends

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you will know, I have worked for the UK Thalassaemia Society for over 10 years. Working with families affected by thalassaemia and the health professionals who support them is not just my job, but also my passion. UKTS is a tiny organisation but we are very hard working. Our aim is to be there for anyone who needs advice, information or just a friendly voice. We are much too small to be able to afford the expensive media campaigns that bigger charities benefit from; but we do desperately need funds to be able to continue our work. Every pound is precious, so please sponsor me to support the UK Thalassaemia Society and at the same time comemmorate International Thalassaemia Day (8th May).

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

We are so grateful for your help. With love and thanks, Elaine.x
