Story
Time has flown by and another year without my John. A great deal of my time now is taken up with voluntary work for the PPR Foundation. This keeps me busy and we, the PPR ladies, all have one aim in common on behalf of our loved ones, which is to raise money for vital research into this underfunded and neglected disease.
We have had a very busy but successful year this year, and after our recent Ball in November we are now approaching half a million pounds. Our aim is to achieve £1,000,000 by the end of 2015 - some feat! So again, I intend to contribute my Christmas card money to The PPR Foundation Just Giving page to help our charity raise vital funds for research.
You were all so extremely kind last year in supporting me and I do not expect the same generosity year on year but would ask you if you could spare even a few pounds in lieu of a Christmas card I would be so grateful. I have endeavoured to make it simple for the technophobes among you (me included) and this year you can donate from your mobiles by texting 70070 and typing EPAR49 into the message body. You can, of course, donate in the normal way on this website.
Can I take this opportunity to wish you all a very merry and peaceful Christmas and health and happiness now and in the coming year.
Lots of love
