Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This summer I shall be going to Project Luangwa in Mfuwe to start work on a couple of databases to help with the running of this wonderful organisation.
Project Luangwa is a charitable organisation whose aims are to develop and improve education in schools and create training opportunities for children who want to carry on their schooling beyond the age of 12. By educating the youngsters they hope to give them and their families the chance of a lasting and sustainable income.
To get a better idea of what they are about take a look at their mission statement and at all the amazing things they have already achieved:

Any money you can give will be well used on such things as:
Providing practical help to students who otherwise would not be able to make it to school. Many teenage girls miss one week of school in four because they do not have sanitary pads, others cannot get to school because it is too far to walk.
Building projects. A current project seeking a few more £1,000s is a new school library at the Mfuwe Secondary School - see the project Luangwa web site and facebook page for details of recent projects.
Supplying vital educational tools. Some classes have only one text book per subject and many teachers are untrained and some unpaid.
Do please consider giving some money to help these children achieve their ambitions for the future.
