Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Paul loved sport!
And he would have loved taking part in the Hospice's Mud Pack challenge.
It is hard to imagine that someone so fit and so healthy would have been taken by such a rare cancer. He was our Hero, the best Daddy that Freya, Ursula, Madeleine and Cordelia could ever have asked for. I can remember the day we finally agreed that we could no longer cope with his symptoms at home and the Hospice of St Francis took him into their care. It was the hardest two weeks of my life, knowing that we were near the end, but the Hospice did their upmost to support him and the girls and I. I am eternally grateful that he died there, at peace, and with me by his side, having said his goodbyes to the girls.
At the time, he was aware that everyone had started signing up to the MudPack challenge as part of the Keohane Crew. Paul was never one to be centre of attention, but I know that he was really impressed by everyone's efforts and was very pleased that we are able to support the Hospice in this way.
The girls are very excited too and can't wait for the day! They are too young to participate, but will be cheering us all on, I know!
Thank you for your support, it means so much.
