Story
We need your help at the Elephant Orphanage Project now! Will you donate today?
Due to late rains this season the nearby Nkala river has burst its banks after several days of persistent heavy rain and flooded the Elephant Orphanage Release Facility in Kafue National Park, Zambia.
Thankfully none of the staff, keepers or elephants were injured but a lot of our vital equipment (computers, printers, modems, wiring, solar power), buildings including the elephant stable and the keeper accommodation has been severely damaged.
In order to be able to continue looking after the elephant orphans we urgently need YOU to donate to this appeal for replacements and repairs.
You can help right now by giving as much or as little as you can afford to help us recover from this disaster!
The Elephant Orphanage Project is run by Game Rangers International in Zambia and supported by the kind folks at the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation. Your donation will be directly used to help the Elephant Orphanage Project recover from this disaster. All donors are kindly welcomed to sign up to our newsletter here: http://www.gamerangersinternational.org/aboutgri/gri-newsletters for updates on the release facility.
