I'm going to attempt to visit 12 churches by running between them, covering 12 miles. What's the point in doing all this running training without an event on the horizon and a great cause to raise money for...so I'll be raising money for Leicestershire Historic Churches Trust and St Peter's Highfields in Leicester, the church that I attend every Sunday and where my husband Chris has been organist for more years than he cares to remember! The church is in the early stages of a long-term restoration project and needs a lot of pennies, as do many other beautiful buildings in this country.
