Story
Lily was born on 17 July 2015 at 27 weeks and 2 days. She weighed just 770g. Even though she was so small and fragile, the wonderful team at UCH's neonatal unit worked tirelessly to look after her and make her strong.
Three months later (on 10 October) our little fighter came home! It was the most magical day.
Lily is now over 5kg. A great deal bigger than when she was first born. We have the hospital to thank for giving our little girl the best possible start to life, notwithstanding a difficult arrival.
For Lily's christening, we would love it if you could make a donation to the EGA Hospital Charity. Hopefully we can raise enough money so they can buy more equipment, reclinable chairs and/or breast pumps (we used these every day for three months).
Thank you.
