Story
There are times when no matter how much you raise you still don't feel it covers the gratitude for the fact your little pickle tried and tested the staff from feb 2008 until now. They helped her breathe, grow, become independent and reach for the odd study every now and then.
Eleanor was born in November 2007 12 weeks early weighing 1lb 4oz. She had a very difficult start in life and as a result spent 5 months in a variety of hospitals around Yorkshire.
Eleanor is now 8 and a half, bilaterally cochlear implanted and doing surprisingly well considering her rough start.
Given everything she has achieved and the assistance York SCBU provided to us as a family it's personal challenge time. This year I am collecting running bling and I've started my quest with a virtual run in January! I'm now moving on to running Lincoln 10k on 17th April , A virtual marathon in a month over April, a virtual 5k in June, York 10k in august and hopefully a half marathon in September!
Any contributions you can give to spur me on to keep putting one foot in front of the other are gratefully received thank you very much for your support.
