Story

Hi everyone,

I decided to challenge myself this year and sign up for the sprint distance of the Sporting Proud Triathlon which takes place on the 3rd of September in Brittas Bay.

This will involve a 750m swim in Brittas Bay (eek!), followed by a 20km cycle, followed by a 5km run.

The charity I'm fundraising for is the Solas Project, a fantastic organisation which works to  address the socio-economic and educational imbalances faced by children in Ireland today. They do this through a range of activities such as an after-school club, mentoring and teaching young people trades to help them access employment.

Any donation would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks,

Emer
