As many of you will know earlier this year we visited an Orphanage in India and spent some time with some of the most beautiful children we have ever met, they gave us so much love and understanding and stole our hearts. 

The orphanage is run by Reaching Forwards Ministries and they are funded by local charity ALALA. Christine Le Nahedic founded the charity and will be going to visit the children in December. She will assess the situation for the children and buy them supplies, the Orphanage has been struggling recently.

What would be wonderful for these children is if we could give them Christmas gifts, simple things that would mean so much... in India religion is incredibly important, these children are raised as Christians, so for them Christmas is an extremely important time.

All these children lost their parents through natural disasters, many of them remember them. Everyday they get up in a tiny room (over 40 children). They look after each other and just keep going, in India it is rare they will get adopted, so for them this is their life.

When we were in India back in March as well as buying food and supplies with the money ALALA gave us, we brought them all small gifts out of our own pockets. Never have I seen so many children grateful for such small offerings.

The thing they want the most is a cuddle, but this Christmas we will not be there to give them a big cuddle... but just to know that people are thinking of them will mean more than you can ever imagine.

Please just spare £1 or £2 (or whatever you can afford) and help us to make Christmas for these children the most magical time ever.

We want enough money for Christine to buy the following for each child whilst she is out in India (these things might change slightly):

* Colouring book

* Colouring Pencil

* pencil sharpener

* rubber

* teddy bear

* Yo-yo's

* Toothbrush

* Toothpaste

* Hairbrush / Comb

* Hairclips for girls / Stickers for the boys

* Bar of soap

*Flannel

* sweets

* bag to keep it all in

we would also like t buy communal gifts for the orphanage or things such as:

* Musical instruments

* Paints

* Paper

* outdoor games 

and anything that Christine would find that she thinks the children would love or need, maybe if we raise enough even a new stereo for them and some music to play, as when we were there last it was broken, and those children do LOVE to dance....

Please help us make this Christmas magical for them. 

Every day we think about them and miss them so much, help us to show them there is love for them from the other side of the world.
