did you know 1 in 5 people in Scotland are born with some degree of hearing loss and 90% of Deaf children are born with hearing parents?

This can make Deaf people feel isolated from society. Deaf Action's aim is to change this! Deaf Action is a deaf-led registered charity working across Scotland to raise awareness of the needs and rights of deaf people, challenge discrimination, and provide a range of services to promote independence and quality of life. 

so those of you who know me, you'll know I'm a social butterfly who likes going out for few drinks of a weekend so i'm really really challenging myself by giving up Alcohol for August. I'm willing to make this sacrifice to raise money so I would really appreciate if people could donate. Every penny helps!

I will keep a blog on this page to tell you all how it's going and recommend various mocktails seeing as i'll be quite the mocktail connoisseur by the end of this!
