Story
Thank you for visiting our just giving page,
I was diagnosed with Leukaemia in 2008, I was taken out of uni and spent 6 months in Cheltenham General Hospital, spent a further 2 years on tablet chemotherapy under a maintance programme.
I am still on this programme and am monitored at the LINC outpatients suit. Throughout this time LINC have been invaluable not only providing diagnostic machines and treatment but also support and things that made my time in hospital bearable.
They provided a bed so that my mum could stay with me, which she did every night for 6 months, they provided a phone so i didnt lose touch with my friends and kept up with all the gossip! they supported my family through the hardest times and me when it came to going back to uni and starting my life over again.
For all of this I will never be able to thank them enough, I feel I owe them my life.
However as a start my sister, Kate, my best friend Karyna and myself will be running the bupa 10K with a target of raising over £1000, so please dig deep and sponsor us.
