Story
My dad Len is terminally ill with Cancer, this has devastated me and my family and as a way of coping I started running.
When I run I think of my dad and his life. My dad was a great runner completing many marathons and half marathons. So I decided to make my dad proud and signed up to the Leeds half marathon.
To help with my motivation, my dad gave me his London Marathon medal. Which he completed in 1987 in 3 hours and 22 minutes. When I run I carry it in my pocket.
Aswell as making my dad proud I would like to raise some money for the Mouth Cancer Foundation. I would also like to raise some awareness of the types of cancer that come under Mouth Cancer, take a look at their website when you have time.
Thanks for taking the time to read and many thanks for your donations. They really are appreciated, not just by me, my dad and my family but all the people who are suffering from this horrible disease, which is still destroying too many lives, far too early.
