Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm running for Carers in Bedfordshire because, as a small, local charity, it needs a great deal of financial support in order to survive. The charity helps family carers of all ages (alarmingly carers can be as young as 4 years old) cope with the emotional and physical stresses arising from their caring.
Caring for others who are totally dependent on you is often a thankless task and I know would be appalling at it (no patience, and a control freak, not a good combo!). If you can help me support the charity in my own small way by raising funds to support those who dedicate their lives to looking after others, I (and they) would be so touched. This run starts and finishes at my gaff www.pavilion.attheparkbedford.co.uk so I really have no excuse not to join in! Find out more about the race at www.7for7in7.com and find out more about the lifeline the charity offers here: www.carersinbeds.org.uk.
Thanks in advance for your support.
....and now for the blurry smallprinty bit: as I'm sure you know by now (I've probably bugged you before!) giving through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
