On Sunday 24th April 2016, while I hope the rest of you will be enjoying a lovely lie in and breakfast in bed, I will be pounding the streets of London for 26.2 miles, whilst pondering the meaning of life, hallucinating about there being wine at the finish, and listening to naff hits from the 80s.
My brain is built for quietly reading books and my body for sitting on the sofa eating chocolate, so I do know how much this will hurt mentally and physically. Your support and donations are what will get me round, so please shout very, very loud and dig very, very deep.
I thought I'd raise a few quid along the way, so am running for the Retail Trust. I work for Clarks shoes, have a total passion for retail and for the thousands of brilliant people who work in shops and HQ teams up and down the country, all hours of the day and night, enabling all of us to buy essentials and to enjoy a bit of retail therapy now and again.
Many of our 10,000 employees at Clarks have benefitted directly from Retail Trust support, so I'm proud to be running to help them continue the great work that they do...find out more at www.retailtrust.org.uk
