Story
Hi!
Welcome to my Just Giving page.
I've decided to put my addiction to running towards a good cause. On Sunday 24th April 2016, I'll be taking part in the London Marathon to raise funds for the Sickle Cell Society, a UK charity that provides care and support to all those affected by sickle cell. I'm running in memory of my amazing cousin Rowan, who sadly passed away last year aged 32, having battled with sickle cell for all of his life.
The marathon (26.2 miles) will be the longest distance I've ever run, and I'll continue to train five times a week in order to build up my mileage, stamina and core strength for the big day. I'd like to raise as much as I can for the Sickle Cell Society. I would be grateful for any amount of sponsorship towards this cause.
For those of you in or around London on the day, come and cheer me on :-)
Thanks,
Esther x
