Dear all,

I am not a person who makes New Year resolutions but this year I have. I have committed myself not to drink any alcoholic drink or smoke till the 30th of January, starting on the 1st January. And I am doing this for a greater cause, to raise funds for charity Earthwatch. 

 I think that in the last 10 years I have not lived a whole week without at least a glass of wine or a beer. So for those who know me you know what a tough challenge this is for me!! 

So please support me in this endevour. I will need some encouragement to keep me going!!
