When I was nearly 2, I received 3rd degree burns to both hands. I was bullied a lot during primary school and consequently became very withdrawn and lost confidence. Frenchay after burns has helped me so much with my confidence and has helped me to get over what happened to me when I was so young. I can now openly talk about what happened and I can actually be myself. Fenchay After Burns a.k.a F.A.B club is a independent charity that depend on funding to keep going. Without funding like this, they cant help young burn survivors like myself.
