About Me,My road to records.I am a 35 year old Mum of three beautiful children, passionate fitness trainer, 7 x Guinness world record holder and dual world record holder, all my records have been in the name of children's charities. My first Guinness world record attempt in Janurary 2014 was very successfful I raised  23,000USD to send underprivileged children from Dhaka to school in support of the Maria Cristina foundation. In January this year with a combined effort I raised 21,000 USD for world childhood cancer by doing1,12 and  24 hours of Burpees and recently in April I ran the London marathon carrying 20kg on my back and raised 16,000 AUD for children battling cancer. I have helped over 400 children with personal  physical challenges.

Why do I this? Well,I feel I am a very  fortunate lady,I am blessed with great health, wealth - not in a monetary sense but in general - with gorgeous, healthy children, a great husband and a community of supportive friends and family both here in the UAE and back home in Australia.

Overcoming  adversities...Life hasn't always been so rewarding - I had to overcome some small setbacks and believe me, I've  had to work hard for everything that I have now. I grew up in a poor housing commission home with a mother who has chronic schizophrenia and was declared unfit to raise me and my three siblings. As a result we were in and out of foster care and were deemed wards of the state. My education suffered as I had no prominent role models to enforce rules and regulations, with the exception of a few teachers who saw some potential with my sporting prowess. Today I am truly thankful to those teachers who gave me their time, as my social and behavioural skills were somewhat like that of an undisciplined hoodlum before those teachers got involved in my upbringing. I realised I wanted to better myself and I worked as hard as I could every day, especially when I hit my teenage years and became aware that I was accountable for my actions and realised that I needed to get myself away from that life, or I would be destined to fail. I didn't want to remain in that cycle of poverty - I was lucky enough to be a talented young sportswoman and I began applying my ability and determination from sports and athletics into my everyday life skills and developed a mindset towards achieving success. That mindset, "the will to win", kept me at school and if it hadn’t I would have quit like so many others in my situation.

After high school I joined the military and it was my ticket to a new life. I certainly know I am lucky to feel as blessed as I do and to have so much “good” in my life, but it's now time to pay it back. I am in a position where I can give something back to the universe because I have this passion to push myself to achieve success. I am a person who loves a challenge, mental or physical, and I will continue to challenge myself as much as I can: as mum, wife and fitness trainer - running ultra-distance races, setting records, taking on fitness competitions and whatever life throws at me. next Feburay I hope to to give 24 hours of blood, sweat and tears to raise  funds for children from Brazil. #TaskBrasil I hope that in some way we all can help the children and there support team. No feeling is greater then to pass on the gift of a better life. All it takes is one person to "care" and "try" to change the world. If I didn't have teachers care about me at school, I would not be in this position today to give back. Every $ raised will go directly to task Brazil and with your help we can  change the path that they thought destiny had set for them.
