OMG, I must be mad for doing this, but it is for a good cause. Those that know me, working with young people from disadvantage backgrounds and supporting them to live independently and successfully has always been my passion.   

I have been very lucky that my first social work placement offered me a job and now my wonderful team and I will be attempting the Tough Mudder Half on 17th September 2016. It is a 5 mile course over 14+ obstacles through varied terrain and overgrown woodland and nuff mud. It will be testing our physical strength, stamina and mental grit.Yes guys... this means no weave, no nails : (

Evolve Housing and support  is a charity working with 2,000 people each year  in and around London. It is a place for positive change and growth for people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds and we work hard to enable those changes to happen. We are doing this challenge to raise money to better our service (Beacon House). Raising this money will enable us to  facilitate the running of our customer involvement activities, especially around cooking and healthy eating which will be an essential skill needed for our customers to move on.
