Emma Hinde, Gwen Hetherington, Michelle Johnson, Deanne Peacock, Emma Hodgson, Rebecca Richter, and Colette Knowles, Saji Bratch, plus two others will be the “10 Brave Souls” taking on the Tyne, all in aid of Disability North on Sunday 20 May.
The challenge – to battle the tides, weather and exhaustion to row the river Tyne, we will be competing with other businesses, so your support would be greatly appreciated.
Emma Hinde and Gwen took part in this challenge last year with a number of others from the Newcastle office, and they enjoyed it so much, they talked a couple more of us into taking part in this year’s event, please see below picture of last year’s challenge:
Disability North is a free Independent Living Service which promotes social inclusion, independence and choice for disabled and older people in the North East of England and Cumbria. Disability North is a user led registered charity which works with, and for, disabled people, empowering them to maximise the control they have over their own lives.
