Story

Married to a professional bass trombone player and having met more trombonists than I ever imagined I would, naturally I've chosen to find out whether this really is "the most difficult instrument in the orchestra" by preparing for (and hopefully passing) my grade one!

I'm a little bit scared of taking on an instrument that has no notes to speak of but very excited at the thought of blowing raspberries, making elephant noises and eventually playing a fanfare.

Wish me (and Dave as my teacher) luck in our endeavours and if you can, please part with a few pounds in support of us and the wonderful orchestra we both work for!
