Extratime is an award-winning charity, founded by parents, providing fun, inclusive and affordable out of school activities for children and young people with and without disabilities and additional needs in Brighton and Hove. 

One parent told us, “Extratime is a lifeline to families like ours, I don’t know how we would manage without it.”

The individual strengths and interests of every child and young person are at the heart of everything that they do. High staffing ratios allow their experienced teams of playworkers to support every child to have fun, try new things and socialise, regardless of their ability. Their services also provide vital respite for parent carers to help with the demands of caring for children with disabilities, complex needs and challenging behaviour.
