Story
The Eynsham Museum Fund (EMF) is a long-term project with the aim of raising sufficient monies to establish a museum in the village to display the history of this special place, nurture the pride of the community for its roots and provide an inspiration for future generations.
The fund is held and managed by Oxfordshire Community Foundation (OCF), a registered charity that assists and coordinates charitable activity in the county. As a named fund under the auspices of OCF we eliminate all the complications of creating an entirely new charity. The EMF will also have access to OCF’s professional expertise, established infrastructure and good governance.
OCF will handle all donations and reclaim any eligible Gift Aid, as well as providing regular updates and details of all donations received. The aim of working within OCF is to be secure but entirely transparent within an independent and highly regarded charitable organisation. In the initial stages (up to £5,000 raised) the services of OCF are free. Thereafter they levy a small contribution to cover their administrative costs. If you wish to find out more about OCF, apply for a brochure on 01865 798666 or go to www.oxfordshire.org or ocf@oxfordshire.org.
