On Sunday 29th May 2016 I will be pounding the streets of Liverpool dressed as a 'Pink Lady' from the film Grease as I will be taking part in the Liverpool Rock 'n' Roll 1/2 marathon. The inspiration for my race will be a young girl called Mollie Lythgoe.

Mollie's father Darren is a coaching client of mine and in  September 2011 Mollie was diagnosed with Leukaemia. Mollie and her family were supported during this very difficult time by the Merseyside based charity - CHICS.

CHICS is a Children's Cancer Support Group that supports both children and their families when their child is diagnosed with cancer. The charity was invaluable to Darren and his family both during and after Mollie's cancer treatment.

Mollie is now back at school and about to celebrate her 13th birthday.
