For the first time The FT Construction Group have decided to adopt a charity for the year and this year we have chosen a local very worthwhile cause:  

Pendragon Community Trust  http://www.pendragon-ct.org

Pendragon is a new centre under development in Northallerton
which is due to open on the 4^th July 2016 it will provide support to
those with physical, mental and emotional difficulties ‘for special people with special needs’.  So far they have raised 100% of the money towards the purchase of the building, conversion work, lifts, ball washing machine, kitchen, changing facilities, staffing and utility costs but are still currently looking for funding for equipment, soft padding for walls/floors and an outside space.  Which we would be delighted to help them achieve.

Pendragon are being thrust into the limelight a little at
the moment as they have organised an official Northallerton 10k Run to be held in May this year, The FT Construction Group are also sponsoring this event, with even a few members of staff taking part, I will keep you posted on their success.

We also have a rather challenging event taking place in June 'The Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge and those taking part are will be raising money to supporting Pendragon. 

We will also attempt to organise other things throughout the year, such as a coffee & cake mornings, guess the sweet jar
competition etc. If you have any ideas for small fundraising events/activities please let us know, we would love to keep things fresh and current.  All help and ideas very welcome!
