Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page.
This page was set up as the easiest way to get all donations from those taking part in 'Facebook-Free February' straight to the charity, 'The Cybersmile Foundation'. 'Facebook-Free February' is, as the name suggests, about being completely free of Facebook for a set time in February: no logging on at all. You can choose whether you take part for a day, every Friday, a week or the whole month of February. The suggested contribution for taking part is £10 per person, but any amount, however big or small, will help make a difference to Cybersmile. Alternatively, you could get sponsored for taking part or even donate as a penalty each time you break the challenge!
'Facebook-Free February' has the potential to be a personal and rewarding challenge for many people. Whatever your reason for taking part, whether it be about spending more time with family or friends, breaking a bad habit, or simply proving that you are able to survive without checking Facebook, we can all be united in raising money and awareness for a great charity. 'The Cybersmile Foundation' is a multi award-winning anti cyberbullying non-profit organisation committed to tackling all forms of online bullying and hate campaigns. Check out their website (www.cybersmile.org) to read about the work that they do, and see for yourself why they are such a deserving and fitting charity for this cyber-related challenge.
