O2 has set a company challenge to raise £100,000 for the NSPCC to keep kids safe online. Our Finance & Professional Services Team target was £5,000, which we are currently exceeding due to everyone’s exceptional efforts. What we have done so far:
- Cycle Challenge: In March we ran a Slough versus Leeds cycling relay race. This involved a team from each office cycling on a static bike to see who can cover the 210 mile distance between Bath Road and the Arlington first. It was a great race enjoyed by all, with Leeds managing to just take the lead.
- Cake Sale: Thanks to the many incredible bakers we seem to have in F&PS we managed to raise huge sums selling our sugary goods.
We have two challenges planned to encourage those donations to roll in:
- Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge: Three teams will attempt to walk the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in under 12 hours. Leeds and Legal will be walking on the 20th May & Slough on the 16th June. This will be a gruelling challenge, so thanks to all those signed by to walk these 24 miles.
- Colour Run: People from across the team will be taking part in London’s most colourful 5km run on the 12 June. Participants will be running through the 5 Dye Zones, turning into a technicolour canvas all to help us reach our target.
Thanks for your donation!
