Story

We are a group of parishioners from the Jesuit Church of Immaculate Conception in London (Farm Street Church).

Led by Father Dominic Robinson SJ, we are setting off on September 25th 2016 to walk 200 km from the Shrine of St Peter Claver in Verdù across Catalunya to the Abbey of Montserrat and Manresa. This year will raise funds for JRS UK and Aid to the Church in Need projects in Kurdistan (northern Iraq).

You can follow our progress on farmstreetcamino.blogspot.co.uk  and please be generous with your prayers, and your donations, which will help provide accommodation for 1,800 displaced Christian and other families in northern Iraq and a place of welcome and support for 200 destitute or detained asylum seekers in London.”

Jesuit Refugee Service UK accompanies, serves and advocates on behalf of asylum seekers from their first arrival until they are settled satisfactorily. We especially work with detained asylum seekers and destitute asylum seekers. This work then feeds into our campaigning and lobbying activities at a local, national and international level.
