Rather improbably I will run the Frankfurt Marathon in October 2015 to raise funds for the neonatal unit at the Chelsea and Westminster hospital.

Our twin sons Winston and Alexander were born 10 weeks early in April and nursed to health both in hospital and at home over the following months. We will always be grateful for the care they received. They are now at home keeping us awake.

Despite it's popularity in recent years running a marathon remains a real achievement. However running a marathon in my condition is a human accomplishment commensurate with the moon landings.
