Having the opportunity to have a year out between my studies, I wanted to spend that time serving God in a very practical, hands on way. I will be on Gap:arts, working with groups like "Out of the box", who run children's ministries around the Inverness-shire area, and Foolproof Creative arts, based in Glasgow, who do a wide range of outreach, mission and evangelism through the arts. This will take me all around Scotland.

Other important parts of the year include mission in the Ukraine, where all the Gap Year participants go out to support the work of "Open Bible", Su's equivalent over there. Gap:engage is a programme that all of us doing Gap years will be doing, which helps us deepen our understanding of faith and discipleship.

I would appreciate your Prayer and financial support as I go into this year. I shall be doing a range of fundraising, such as organising a ceilidh, and hopefully scaling Ben Nevis in the near future.
