Story

Right here goes, this is the Feversham girls story - which I will be writing in speech form, not because I can't write well, I'm actually an English teacher  but because I want to talk directly to you!

Our story starts from being part of a great community where I went to a charity fundraising event, run by one of my best friends Sabilha. To me she is Sabilha to every one else she is APPA - meaning sister. She is a beautiful sister and very inspirational. At this fundraiser she raised 50,000 pounds yes 50,000 pounds with the help of many others but co - ordinated the event by herself. At the event she made the Feversham girls (all of us are from the same school-Feversham) who were quietly sat in the corner, pledge to raise some cash.  1000 pounds between the 5 of us I said sounds do able. She said "DID I HEAR YOU SAY 1000 pounds each well done £5000 mashallah , YOU GUYS ARE PILLARS OF THE COMMUNITY YOU'RE TEACHERS YOU CAN DO THIS WITH YOUR EYES CLOSED" so here we are raising £5000 MashAllah, and we were all sat there thinking omg! how can we raise £1000.00 never mind £5000!

But Mashallah its been 2 days and we have already raised £200 pounds, so we are optimistic and see this as a personal challenge. The charity is called Save the Mother's Trust and all the money raised will go to widows.

Amreen my sister is co-ordinating a fun day involving the whole community in Bradford. It will be an amazing event on the 27th of August. BE THERE OR BE SQAURE!

Marria and Shazana (my sister in law), the mother hens clucking over us, will be in charge of the stalls.  Samia - all dancing all singing make up applying, henna designing, hijab styling, naat reciting hero is a lady of many talents. She has set up her very own not for profit social enterprise www.crystalReflections.org.uk  - a training and development company inspiring and empowering young people.

Hajra, another teacher, I believe is delegating all her pledges, clever lady lol.
