Justlife is a charity which supports people who are close to living on the streets. It started back in 2008 when a friend of my sister and brother-in-law died in a B&B which was supposed to be a refuge for vulnerable people. Since then, they've worked to support 1000s of individuals who live in appalling conditions right here in the UK. They've also worked to raise awareness of the scandal of temporary accommodation which is present in every town and city in the country but hidden to the majority of people. For the last few years, I've watched friends and family running to raise a little bit of cash to help Justlife to support the growing number of people for whom home is not a place of safety, security or nurture. This year it's my turn to try and make a difference!
