Story

Out of the blue I have been given an opportunity to "do" the London Marathon. I never ever dreamt of doing such a thing but I was persuaded that my walking pace would be good enough to qualify. So I decided to do it and at the same time raise some money for a small but very worthy charity, South Bucks Riding for the Disabled. I have only recently learnt about how the severely disabled can benefit from working with these special horses. I hope to be able to complete the 26.2 mile route in about 6.5 - 7 hours so that's a very long time on the road. I will have you all in my mind's eye as I pound those never ending London pavements!
