Throughout her life, Mum helped animals in distress whenever she could. Mum supported the local Rescue Centres, by giving a much needed home to Labrador dogs (her favourite!) who became wonderful family pets. Over the years we had 6 rescued Labradors; one "mix and match" puppy from kids giving them away, a donkey (!), "Kitty" who was found at the side of the road after an accident and the list goes on. She hated to see animals suffering and would have gladly given all a home.

She has asked for donations for Animals in Distress as part of her Will and the family would be grateful for any donations to help this worthy cause.
