Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Clair is one of my best friends who has always been there for me no matter what. She picked up a bacterial infection that has severely damaged her memory, sometimes she can't remember what she did yesterday or some of the real high points of her life.

A horrible illness for a lovely person.

I am doing iron man wales which is widely considered one of the hardest iron man's on the circuit.

An iron man is a 2.4 mile swim a 112 mike bike and then a marathon all in under 17 hours. This is like swimming a race for life (just under) cycling London to Brighton and back (just over) and then a marathon. Wales has 9 hills that are 15-25% gradients (dichlin beacon is 9%) so it is going to hurt

I can't guarantee to finish as there are cut off times, and I'm reliant on mechanical equipment, but if I can't do it I will do it again next year so you get your money's worth :)

When it really hurts (probably from halfway on the bike) it will really help to know I'm raising money for such a good cause.

Please give what you can and thank you so much, me clair and the family really appreciate it
