Freddie James Bean was
born on the 29th December following an Emergency C section. Mum, Lizzy had
suffered a silent placental abruption which had meant there were few signs of a
problem until things became life threatening for both. Freddie was born with no
heartbeat and was given resuscitation for 18 minutes before gaining a pulse and being
transferred to UHCW (University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire) for specialist neo natal care.
Despite the team's greatest
efforts it was soon established that Freddie had limited brain activity and
would not recover. We said goodbye to our beautiful youngest on 1st January
2015. UHCW charity provides family bereavement support and accommodation to the
highest level to help families like us to grieve and come to terms with such a
life changing event. We are hugely thankful to all the staff who supported us
and can't thank the team enough for all that they did, both for Freddie and for
Lizzy. The money raised will help UHCW charity to continue to support families
like us.
