City of London School 48-hour Sponsored Row 2016, 5 July 2017

Story

Starting at 9:30 on Tuesday 5th July, myself and other pupils will be taking part in a 48-hour sponsored row for this year's school charity in aid of Farm Africa. The plan is to row continuously for 48 hours between us on an indoor rowing machine, attempting to cover 603 miles (distance between John O'Groats and Lands End). Through sponsorship and collection buckets this event has raised up to £9,000 in the past and we want to equal if not better this impressive total - so please do not hesitate to donate!

Thank you.

About the charity

Every year, City of London School raises money for a different charity voted for by the students. In 2016, we are supporting Centrepoint which supports more than 9,000 homeless 16-25 year olds a year into a home and a job. They aim to give homeless young people a future and end youth homelessness.
