Myself (Graeme Clydesdale), Luke Gainey and Andy Jones are going to attempt the 3 peaks challenge on the 12th of September 2016. This is a challenge of completing Ben Nevis (1344 metres high), Scafell Pike (978 metres high) and Snowdon (1085 metres high). This is a challenge in itself but the real challenge is completing all three in 24hrs which also has to include travelling between them. We will be starting at 5pm on the 12th at Ben Nevis, we will then travel down to Scafell Pike and hope to start there at 5am and then travel to Snowdon and hope to start at 1pm which will give us 4 hours to finish. We are quite confident about doing the climb’s but our worry will be the travelling as me may hit some traffic between Scafell Pike and Snowdon, hopefully we will make up time on the first two and won't need to run down Snowdon.

The Fountain Centre do so much work for the patients and their families who are affected by Cancer and being a small charity we thought they could use as much help in fundraising as possible. The charity is close to my heart as my wife Rachel has recently been through treatment for breast cancer and she is now in remission :). She visited the Fountain Centre several times with everyone there seeming genuine, very kind and always trying to help. We will be doing updates with our training and as we get closer, we will also look to update the photos as we reach the summits of the 3 peaks. But don’t worry we won't show pictures of our feet afterwards, they will be for our loved ones only.

We hope to raise as much money as we can and hope you donate as this would help them in continuing the great work they do helping people living with Cancer.
