Story
Hi you gorgeous gang,
Thank you so much for taking the time to click on my link and reading my story.
Running a marathon has always been on my to 'To Do List' but the fact I am going to be running the London marathon is going to make it extra special. I have been pounding the pavement, getting up at 5am most days ensuring I fit all the training in and can't wait until 24th April to make you all proud.
I am running for The Haemochromatosis Society, this is a charity that has helped a very close friend of mine and his family so I felt it was only right to run for them.
About the charity:-
"The Haemochromatosis Society is here to SUPPORT people affected by genetic haemochromatosis and their families, to encourage RESEARCH into the condition and its management, and to EDUCATE the medical profession, policy makers, patients and others, to improve the rates and ages of diagnosis.
Early diagnosis saves lives. Haemochromatosis if identified early can be readily treated and patients can enjoy a normal lifespan and good quality of life."
Thank you so much again for reading and if you could spare some money - all donations would be greatly appreciated.
Keep an eye out for me on the big day,
Loads of love,
Georgie xxx
