GAAP is celebrating their 4  Anniversary

 

Started in 2008, GAAP was born from a team of concerned and impassioned individuals who were united in their determination to ensure that the charity fulfills its objective and mission statement- To relieve child poverty in Africa, with the long-term objective of establishing a children’s orphanage in Nigeria.

 

GAAP pride themselves on the fact that all funds raised are not just sent out to Nigeria, but that they are delivered personally! GAAP founder Abbey Orebanwo believes this is the only true way for GAAP to make a difference ‘We don’t want to just go there and give them things, we want to go there and develop them…..we walk with them!’.

 

On Friday 12 October 2012 GAAP will be celebrating their 4 Anniversary by holding a Salsa charity fundraising event at Marconi Social Club on Beehive Lane in Chelmsford.  The night will boast Salsa classes for all levels, from some of the top local Salsa talent AND Sam Mr Sleek, fantastic dance shows, including the ‘Sleek Arrows’ and vocal performances from Doug Elom & Hollie Kamel.  There will also be a silent auction with some fantastic prizes up for grabs!  The doors will open from 7.30pm-1am and we are asking for a minimal £10 entry donation. 

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

If you pre-book your ticket, by making your donation online (and keep the proof of payment), then for every £10 donation received another £2.50 will donated by Giftaid.

 

ENTRANCE ON THE NIGHT

The name you enter when you donate will AUTOMATICALLY be transferred to the pre-donated list on 12 October, just print of proof of your donation so we can match the two up on the night. If you prefer to donate anonymously call Terry on 07974 123 567 and I will manually add your name to the pre-donated list.
