Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Over the last few years Glen and I have realised the number of children and women being sold into manual and sexual slavery. I can't believe there are more slaves today then ever before in history. It is such a sad hidden network and it is disgusting. I think it is very easy in my happy realm to hide my head in the sand and pretend this is not happening in this country, Europe and across the world.
Glen and I have decided to walk up Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, and Snowdon in Wales within 24 hours and raise money for a charity who is fighting against modern day slavery....we would love our friends and families to become educated with us about what is going on too close to home.
A few years ago there was a panic locally to where I lived about a story of someone snatching a little girl in a supermarket and pulling them in the loos, shaving their head, changing them into boys clothes and abducting them. This left me so sick and on my guard with my four kids, but sadly this is the sort of thing that is happening in our country and across our world and its time we all fought against it rather then live in fear of this sick network.
So how can you help. Please read the A21 campaign web page and become educated. Please educate those around you. And if you feel you can please sponsor us on our walk.
At them moment we are training a few evenings a week walking up and down Box Hill doing a 7k walk. I have never been so red in my life or had my heart feel like it was going to pop our my chest by beating so hard. Our 3 peak challenge is 36k (22miles) in 24hours, I know this is going to be such a challenge, with 2 of the mountains will have to be walked in the night.
Thank you for reading this and considering sponsoring us.
Lots of love
Eva and Glen
