Story
Ebola is a vicious and lethal disease. To date, the recent outbreak has killed close to 1,000 people across four African countries and carries an alarmingly high fatality rate of up to 90%.
Sierra Leone has not faced an Ebola outbreak of this scale before and there is a lack of understanding about the virus and how it is spread, all of which is contributing to an increase in cases.
As a member of the Ebola National Taskforce, we are working in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and World Health Organisation to educate and raise awareness on the signs, symptoms and measures needed to stop Ebola in it's tracks.
