Thanks for visiting our Just Giving Page.
As you can see from our header we have organised a Coast to Coast Cycling trip from Whitehaven to Sunderland for the weekend "18th June". Our group consists of all ages and fitness levels so we will be working together as a team to cover the 140 mile trip over 2 days.
We will start off at Whitehaven, Cycling almost 80 Miles to Alston where we will stop for the night. From there the next day we will continue our journey to Roker where we will finish.
With every challenging event we have a chosen charity, Which this time is " Zoe's Place - Middlesbrough". Below is a little summary of what wonderful work "Zoe's place" do. Please dontate by clicking the "Donate" button OR you can text GSHY99 £5 to 70070. Thank you <3
Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice in Normanby, Middlesbrough provides palliative, respite and end-of-life care to babies and infants aged from birth to five years old suffering from life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.
We first opened our doors and began welcoming our special babies and their families in 2004.
Zoë is the Greek word meaning “gift of life” and at Zoë’s Place we believe that life is precious no matter how long it lasts.
Zoë’s Place can take up to six infants at any one time, there is also ample accommodation and facilities for the whole family if these are needed.
We receive a modest amount of Government funding, therefore we rely on the generosity of the public to help us raise the £1.2 million a year we need to keep the doors open for the many families that rely on our expert care.
