Story

In August Michael Buchanan and Guy Cotton will
be tying their boot laces to undertake the South Coast Challenge in support of the Construction Youth Trust.

The South Coast Challenge is a 100km walk from Eastbourne to Arundel, following the South Downs Way. As if walking 100km isn’t hard enough, they will also be aiming to complete the walk in around 24 hours - that’s continuous walking, day and night, with no sleep!

The Construction Youth Trust is a charity helping young people to build better futures by giving them access to training, education and employment opportunities in the construction industry. Specifically, the Galliford Try team will be supporting the Trust’s #NOTJUSTFORBOYS campaign, which is focused on changing the misconception that construction careers are only for men by promoting the diverse range of career opportunities the industry has to offer, and role models of the women successfully doing them.
