The Epic Adventure of Gareth & Wes: A Walk For BIBIC
Fundraising for bibic - Changing Children's Lives
Story
On July 24th 2016, We, Gareth Morgan & Wes Harry will embark on a 10 day epic walking adventure from Aberystwyth, West Wales to Langport, Somerset.
The walk is in aid of BIBIC, a worthy charity that provides support to children and young people with neurological and genetic conditions. We aim to raise £10,000.
As well as our justgiving page, we will be collecting monies on the way. We will video blog our journey, live where possible. We will be making our walk as entertaining as possible!! We will welcome your ideas for each leg of the journey. It could be fancy dress, it could be an item to carry, a song to sing or any quest of the day!! We will consider any ideas..all we ask is for a small donation!
We will end each day with a quiz in aid of BIBIC at various chosen venues and a video blog to summarize our journey made and the journey to be made!
We will mostly camp in the wilds of the countryside or participate in the extreme sport of sofa surfing in-between each leg of the journey! We will welcome anyone to join us for any part of the journey!
We end our journey in Langport, Somerset on July 3rd August, which coincides with a community event organised by BIBIC! All welcome!
In the next coming weeks, we will be providing updates regarding planning and documenting our pre-journey training! We will also be releasing a promotional slideshow shortly!
