18th of June will see me taking part in the Virgin Cyclone to raise funds for Betty.  Betty was recently surrendered to us at Basset Rescue Network. The subsequent vet check confirmed Betty has a serious heart murmur.

Betty's condition will take some initial investigation work and she will require medication for the rest of her life, which we will do our very best at BRNGB to be sure is long, enjoyable & full of Basset madness.

Betty will remain in permanent foster care for the rest of her days, as such I'm getting on my bike and riding the Virgin Cyclone on the 18th June.

My training time is limited, to cycling to & from work with an odd bit thrown in here and there but whilst I initially planned to complete the 34 mile route, to show my commitment if I can train well in the coming week I will up it to the 63 miles course.
