This year the best of Accenture is joining forces with friends and family to give something back to those less fortunate than ourselves.

I'm very proud to say that I'm cycling with an all-female team including my wife Marlene for Lessons For Life which raises money to educate Aids orphans in Africa. The Charity is on a mission to help 50,000 of Africa's children by 2017 by getting them in school and onto training programmes with this bike ride being the primary fund raising initiative this year.

This Charity is particularly important to us as it was founded by our friend Shane O’Neill who passed away a few years ago in the prime of his life. Shane was the inspiration behind the Charity and his vision, passion and energy was the driving force behind the achievements.

We would really appreciate any support that you can make for this great cause.
